Susu merudum? ni masalah dan cabaran biasa bagi ibu2. Jadi utk ibu2 yang menyusu, amat mustahak untuk mengetahui punca2 susu merudum..hmm..banyak ye actually…faktor2 seperti stress,..musim2 period, kurang kalori, baby beralih bulan or di panggil growth spurt (time ni normally dia akan consume lebih byk dari biasa).. dan byk lagi faktor2 lain mmg ada efek yg besar pada pengeluaran susu. Jadi apa yer yang ibu2 boleh buat?
- Makan makanan seimbang…especially yang kaya dgn protein..,makan oatmeal
- Drink barley-based drinks such as homemade barley water
- Consume plenty of dark green vegetables
- Ensure adequate fluid intake each day
- Routine pumping
- Ambil natural milk booster jika perlu….cthnya alfalfa
- Apply power pumping teknik
Power pumping is a technique that can be helpful in building a milk supply. Power pumping involves using regular pumping techniques and setup, but in a unique way. The idea is to mimic a baby who is nursing frequently to increase a mother’s supply.Bagaimana caranya?
- Pump for 10-20minit
- Rest 10 minutes,
- Then pump another 10 minutes,
- Then rest for 10 minutes
- Then pump again for 10 minutes.
- Do this for about an hour, sekali sehari, 2-3 kali seminggu (Dapat buat setiap hari lagi bagus)
- 15min pump
- 15min rest
- 15 pump
- 15 rest — continue this pattern dalam 1-2 jam..non-stop…

Catherine Watson Genna, BS, IBCLC, suggests an alternative short-term strategy for mothers of healthy full-term babies who are having a difficult time fitting pumping into their busy daytime routines. Place the breast pump in a convenient location that you will pass often and where you'll be comfortable sitting or standing. Every time you pass the pump, use it for five to ten minutes or so, as often as every forty-five to sixty minutes. Stop when you begin to feel "antsy," restless, or annoyed. You can continue pumping into the same bottrle and pumping kit for four to six hours without refrigeration, depending on the temperature of the room. After four to six hours, take the accumulated milk to the refrigerator, wash the kit, and start fresh for the next four to six hours. Aim for pumping at least ten times every day. Continue for two to three days and then resume your normal pumping routine.
